Spring Policy Intern
Jonathan Mangrum is a Junior at Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia, where he works toward a dual degree in Political Science with a focus in international politics and Liberal Studies. At the Millennial Action Project, Jonathan tracks and compiles legislation, contributes to research projects, and drafts content on policy.
Jonathan spent the fall 2016 election season working as a Field Organizer with the nonprofit Georgia Shift to engage and inform young voters on ballot measures and candidates. Last year, Jonathan was nominated and selected to become a nationally recognized Newman Civic Fellow for his civic engagement efforts in a nonpartisan student organization, the American Democracy Project. At his home university, he participates in Mock Trial, Model United Nations, and Student Government. Jonathan will be in Washington, D.C. for a semester, but he plans to return for a career in diplomacy, foreign policy, or national security.
