State Caucus Manager
Alexandria (Alex) Tapia is the State Caucus Manager with the Millennial Action Project.
Prior to joining the MAP Team, Alex worked as a Regional Field Director for the Mississippi Republican Party and the Republican National Committee leading to two successful U.S. Senate races and a Congressional race. Before that, Alex spent five years building relationships with legislators and providing bipartisan support to the Legislature at the New Mexico Legislative Council Service.
Alex earned B.A.s in Government and History from New Mexico State University where she graduated with High Honors. She moved to Washington, D.C. to attend the Graduate School of Political Management at The George Washington University in January 2018 and currently represents the program as a Student Ambassador.
Always proud of her home state, Alex represented the Land of Enchantment as Miss Rodeo New Mexico 2014. She now serves as the secretary for the New Mexico State Society of Washington, D.C. Alex enjoys running and is committed to working with organizations that promote women in elected office.
