Representative Matthew Pouliot

Maine Future Caucus, Co-Chair (R) 

Rep. Matthew Pouliot is serving his third term in the Maine House, representing District 86, which includes part of Augusta.

A lifelong Augustan, Rep. Pouliot is a 2005 graduate of Cony High School and the University of Maine at Augusta, where he earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in 2009.

Rep. Pouliot is a realtor and the owner of Alliance Properties, working previously in sales for Hammond Lumber.

Matt is heavily engaged in his community, serving as a board member of the Kennebec Valley Board of Realtors, the Augusta Rotary Club, the Augusta Downtown Alliance, and Junior Achievement of Maine. He is a member of the Calumet Club in Augusta. He’s been appointed to serve on the Taxation Committee during the 128th Legislature after spending the last two years serving on the Educational and Cultural Affairs Committee.

When he’s not working to better the lives of those in his district, you’ll find Rep. Pouliot hunting and fishing and and he is currently pursuing his pilot’s license.
