Rep Nick Miccarelli

Rep. Nick Miccarelli was elected to serve the people of the 162nd Legislative District in 2008. As a state representative, Miccarelli will focus on reducing taxes and improving Pennsylvania’s business climate in order to bring good paying jobs back to the Commonwealth.

Before being elected to serve the people of the 162nd District, Miccarelli served as chief of staff to Rep. Ron Raymond. He also serves as a councilman in his hometown of Ridley Park.

Miccarelli has served as an infantryman in the United States Army since October 1999. Currently, he serves as a staff sergeant in the Army National Guard. He has been awarded the Combat Infantry Badge and the Army Commendation Medal for actions in combat.

Miccarelli is active in his local community. In addition to founding the Hurricane Katrina Sister Town Project to help towns left devastated by Katrina, he is a Freemason and a member of the First Troop Philadelphia City Cavalry.

Miccarelli is a graduate of Ridley High School in Folsom. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and is a recipient of the John F. Boyer Scholarship. He is also a eucharistic minister at Saint Madeline's Roman Catholic Church.

Miccarelli currently resides in Ridley Park.
